Here is the debug info of the Squeezebox server (I have copied the info of the last couple of days only – please tell me if you need the full debug info): Where people run into problems is they exceed the capabilities of SMB shares by trying to stream Bluray over it instead of using DLNA which works just fine. The Synology media server is awesome and fast. Honestly you dont know what youre talking about. I don’t think that the server connection is lost, because I can always navigate through my music folder and jump to other tracks instantly and they might (or might not) play normally. Logitech Media Server is the one who has worked the best but it is very unstable. I dont have LMS listed anywhere in Pacakge. I thought that the reason to move LMS to Docker was to isolate it from DSM. I used to run LMS as a community package but now I run it under Docker. Sometimes I can jump in the middle of the track and it will continue to play from there, sometimes not. Im trying to move to DSM 7 from 6.2.4 and I get a warning about incomaptible packages and Logitech Media Server is listed and I cant proceed. Sometimes the time display of the track still continues to move, but it stays silent. I can reproduce the problem, because there are some tracks where it plays only a few seconds almost every time. Logitech Media Server is a streaming audio server supported by Logitech (formerly Slim Devices), developed in particular to support their Squeezebox range.
Click the All tab to view all available packages, then find Synology Application Service and click Install. I have added the -s in the commandline settings as you suggested (I didn’t know the port, so I used only the server address).īut still the same problem. To launch Synology Application Service: Go to Package Center.
